About Me – Ryan DiMauro, MS, LAC, LPCC, NMIT
Born and raised in Colorado, I come from a big, close-knit family with five siblings and deep roots that reflect a blend of Sicilian, Irish, German, Norwegian, French, Scottish, and other European ancestry. I’ve always been drawn to experiences that restore perspective, long road trips, quiet reflection, and mountain immersions that reconnect me to something steady and grounding.
My path into the mental health and addiction field is personal as well as professional. Like many families, mine has been impacted by substance use. I have lost loved ones to addiction, and I have also witnessed the incredible reality of recovery, the resilience people discover when they’re met with the right support, tools, and community. Those experiences shaped my commitment to treating mental health and substance use as co-occurring, interconnected concerns, rather than separate problems. I believe healing happens most sustainably when we honor the whole person: their nervous system, their story, their relationships, their environment, and their search for meaning.
I hold a master’s degree in clinical behavioral health with an emphasis in addiction, and my clinical interests continue to evolve toward deeper and more integrative work. I plan to specialize in psychodynamic psychotherapy, with a long-term goal of pursuing a PhD in Behavioral Neuroscience, bridging depth-oriented therapy with a rigorous understanding of the brain, behavior, and healing.
I’m also committed to responsible, ethical innovation in the future of mental health care. I currently hold a Natural Medicine Facilitator-in-training license in the state of Colorado, allowing me to participate in psychedelic-assisted therapy within the legal framework, under the supervision of an approved supervisor at an approved healing center. I approach this emerging field with humility and structure, recognizing both its promise and the importance of careful training, clinical integration, and client safety.
I am a therapist and co-founder of Depth & Alchemy Collective, PLLC, where my clinical work is offered through Mind Depth Recovery, LLC. At the center of my practice is a simple commitment: to meet each person with respect, precision, and genuine care, helping clients build stability, reclaim autonomy, and create a life aligned with their values and deepest sense of self.
